Soft Annealing
Heat to 680-720oC, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 248.
Normalizing
Temperature: 880-920oC.
Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 860-900oC followed by oil quenching.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 540-680oC.
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1100-900oC.
