Soft Annealing
Heat to 650-700^oC, cool slowly. Intermediate annealing: 650-680^oC.

Carburizing
Temperature: 900-950^oC, water, oil or hot quenching 160-250^oC.

Core Hardening
Temperature: 890-920^oC.

Surface Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 780-820^oC followed by water or oil quenching.

Tempering
Tempering temperature: 150-210^oC.

Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1150-850^oC.
