High wear resistant parts, pins, driving shafts, gears, gear wheels, bolts, bushings, etc.

Soft Annealing
Heat to 680-700oC, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 207.
Intermediate Annealing
Temperature: 650-680oC.
Carburizing
Temperature of 840-800oC, cooling media: salt bath 580-680oC, air, case hardening box, water, oil, hot quneching 160-250oC.
Core Hardening
Temperature: 820-850oC.
Surface Hardening
Temperature: 810-830oC, air or hot quenching.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 150-180oC.
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1050-850oC.
