Soft Annealing
Heat to 680-700^oC, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 220.

Normalizing
Temperature: 870^oC.

Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 890^oC followed by oil quenching.Hardness after quenching is 48-52 HRC.

Tempering
Tempering temperature: 500-550^oC.

Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1050-850^oC.
